Works OK but cant subtract VFO from IF
Bought this counter because it advertised IF offset. However, note that you cannot subtract the VFOs variable input frequency from the IF offset you enter. For example, with a popular 9 MHz IF and 5.0 to 5.5 VFO arrangement, you cannot readout 80 meters, or 3.5 to 4.0 MHz. This calculation is IF offset minus input. It will calculate 20 meters however, which is IF plus input. Seems like they could have put a couple of extra lines of code in the PIC to do this.
